I want to gain muscle and weight what do i do and what types of workouts?

What do I need to do to gain muscle and weight. I’ve always been skinny im 19 about 5’4 or 5’5 and 116. I want to get bigger muscles like legs, chest,and arms. What type of workouts should i do and what to eat. Do i take protein drinks? And no i cant afford a person trainer. I can beraly afford the gym.

    for chest, do exercises like flys, bench presses, squats for legs, arms you can do curls, barbell presses. most gyms will have all their exercise machines n groups according to the body part you are working. take a protein drink before and after working out, if you do 1 body part, rest it the next day so you give the muscle a chance to recover. so work certain bodyparts every other day. since you are skinny already, you can get by with doing 15-20 minutes of cardio before you work out to get your blood flowing.

    hey buddy you dont need a personal trainer. i would take protein drinks. you can go to wal mart and pick up protein there. it is cheap and quality protein. i think it is called body fortress. i would also eat every 2-3 hours a day. you have to eat to gain muscle. as far as the workouts here is a website you can check out to find different exercises for each muscle group. also join forums like bodybuilding dungeon, muscular development, and bodybuilding.com and join that community for advice as well. do research for yourself
