I want a flatter bum and slimmer hips! How do I achieve this?

I do body pump and spin 3-4 times weekly, plus swim loads and have a really healthy diet. I have a fairly toned torso and a normal 32″ waist but my butt and hips are big man! HELP!! What am I doing wrong??

    You may not be doing anything “wrong”. Your body may naturally be shaped that way. I’m guessing you’re a woman, pardon me but I don’t know where on this site to confirm that. What you’re describing sounds like the normal and ideal shape of an attractive, healthy woman.

    Be cautious of the knee bends recommended in another answer. Swimming places very little stress on your joints, but frequent deep knee bends can wear out your knees.

    What you want may be attainable, but it may come at a high price, and could even be totally unnecessary if you examine why you want it, and what would really make you attractive (if that is your “need” driving this “want”).

    I have the same problem. I have a 26″ waist and a huge back side. I have been trying to change it for ages.

    Somethings have to stay as they are.

    Sad but true.
