I have been dieting for about 5 weeks now and lost just over a stone. Problem is my breath has got smelly!?

Is this associated with my dieting as I have never had a problem with bad breath before my diet. I haven’t changed what I eat, I just eat less, get more exercise and drink no alcohol. Thanks

That happened to me.You are in Ketosis, meaning you are starving and depriving your body. Maybe eat some more.

Take half a gram of L-tryptophan an hour before bedtime and buy the breath perls take four in the morning and four at night. You are burning fat and the ketone level in your blood has gone up and you are exhaling it out your lungs. Also try better breathing hygiene, push your stomach out a bit when you inhale so you feel the air in the bottom of your lungs.

Spearmint essential oil. A tiny drop on the tongue does the trick. You are probably still eating cooked food which is dead food. Go totally raw and your breath will stop smelling badly.

You need a spoon of honey 3-4 times a day.
also try fruit juice not made from concentrate.
also a pint of Organic Whole milk 2 pints a day, i think you need more liquid in your diet, fresh natural concentrate juice is crap beyond compare…..

i’d suggest good quality meat too.

Good for you. Keep it up and get down to the weight you really want. As to the bad breath. It can come from ketones that are the by product of fat metabolism. There isn’t much you can do about it. Most bad breath, however, comes from bacteria that grow on your tongue and these bacteria produce bad breath. So clean your tongue every time you brush your teeth. I recently found out about a new tongue brush, OraBrush, which is both a brush and a scraper. I really like it because it makes my mouth feel really clean and I have fresh breath. This is where you can learn more about it.
