How would a 13 year old lose weight quickly without damaging health effects?

I’m thirteen and extremely unhappy with my body. I am overweight and do not want to resort to drastic measures to lose weight, so I need the easiest and most effective answer please.

Stop eating. Get your butt of the computer chair and get on the treadmill.

don’t do it without asking your doctor on the best way of how to do it. You could damage all your internal organs if you don’t do it with their guidance. tell them that you would really love to become healthy, and ask their ideas of the best way to do it.

    answer: you cant xD

if you want to lose weight you will have to do it slowly at 1 or 2 pounds a week or every 2 weeks =3 ask your doctor if your right for certain diets or excersizes. join a sports team and take walks everyday. cut out junk food but DO NOT start eating small amounts of things you need like good carbs and certain fats.

honey your best bet would be to go to: http://kidshealth.org/kid/stay_healthy/food/pyramid.html
and if you out in your information there, it will show you how much of the 5 food groups you should be eating everyday. and plus that, you should excersise every day. your weight loss wont happen immidiatly but it will be effective. please take my advice!

Watch your eating habits. There are many things in excess that will contribute to weight gain. Pre-packaged foods and fast food are a big source of extra calories. Those nutrition labels on the back of items are accurate, and I’m not suggesting you count calories but take a serious look at what you are eating. Fresh foods – fruit, vegetables, proteins etc. should all be a part of your diet. To just “stop eating” is absurd, unhealthy and will have negative impacts. Drink plenty of water, avoid sugar filled drinks such as soda and consume the correct portions. In America, we overeat. Our portions sizes are excesively large and people resort to eating when they are bored. You might be hungry, and that’s okay – eat a small snack. Eating numerous small meals several times a day could be better than three large ones. Don’t eat food late at night before you go to sleep. Don’t forget to have some fiber in your diet (leafy greens, bran / grain)

Being active is always helpful. Once you’ve established a more balanced diet and take a closer look at some of the junk you might be putting in your body, you’ll be on the right track. Simple changes can have huge benefits – something may appear healthy but could carry a lot of unnecesary salt, sugar or saturated fat, MSG and whatnot.

Use moderate activity to counteract your eating. Walking, excercising, etc. are beneficial. Ride a bike, lift weights, start off with feasible activity, no sense in shocking your body. Weight loss may seem like a challenge but if you simply burn off more calories through daily activity than you consume, then you’ll be fine.

It’s a simple equation: put food in + burn calroies in excess of food taken in = weight loss

EAT SOME PROTIEN AT EACH MEAL & AS A SNACK
In addition to everything that抯 been discussed before, eating protein helps you burn more calories. Jeff Hample, Ph.D., R.D., a spokesman for the American Dietetic Association says that, “Protein is made up mainly of amino acids, which are harder for your body to breakdown, so you burn more calories getting rid of them.?
Just think ?eating a protein rich snack can help you lose weight. How about a few slices of turkey or ham or some string cheese?
Eating protein will also help you feel full so that you are less likely to crave unhealthy snacks.

    Build in some fave foods
It’s fine to build some fave foods into your healthy diet plan. Successful slimmers do it as it helps them avoid feeling deprived. Make sure you choose quality foods that you really feel like eating (do you fancy sweet, savoury, crunchy, creamy at that time?), sit down, eat slowly and savour them.

Deciding on what you will truly enjoy (and knowing that you can have it again another time if you want to) adds satisfaction and means you’re likely to be happy with a small amount.

It takes ? hour for the message to get from your stomach to your brain when you’re full. Because of this, simply take small portions to start. It’s easier to do when you know in ? hour you can go back for more if you still want some. But you won’t.
