How to lose the arm fat in between your boob and shoulder?

I hate the stupid armpit fat! It just looks so gross. Im not very fat at all, i just have a couple spots that are all flabby. Im looking for exercises (YOGA POSES would be amazing) that work the arm muscles, minus the biceps. I really dont care if i loose boobage. My diet is fine so you dont have to comment on that.
I would love to lengthen my body! Much appreciated!

It’s impossible to target fat loss in one area unless you’re considering surgery.

i would think strengthening your arm muscles would help that. just do some arm exercises. maybe some pushups or lift some light weights

    I agree with wolflex16.

The most widespread and enduring misunderstanding of exercise physiology is the idea that during AEROBIC effort (sustained oxygen intake and carbon dioxide elimination), a muscle takes/burns fuel (hopefully fat, as opposed to other options) from fat cells located closest to the muscle.

In an ANAEROBIC (meaning without oxygen) effort, the muscle consumes glucose/glycogen for energy, which yes, is stored/located within muscle cells.

Working/targeting specific muscle groups WILL build that specific muscle, which WILL firm the flesh in that area (thus improving “tone”), but it does guarantee that fat stored over that muscle (subcutaneous fat) will be consumed/reduced.

When the body has excess fat to store, it does not say, “Which muscle is the least used — that’s where I’m going to deposit this excess fat.”

Instead, there seems to be a general pattern by gender: in women, often the first and primary place the body tends to store fat is the thighs and gluteus.
In men, it is often the abdomen.

Because these places are first to receive fat, they are also usually the last location the body selects to draw from/consume fat.
Thus, they become the most stubborn, “problem areas” for most people.

You will have a much greater effect in reducing your “problem area” by regularly doing a cardio/aerobic activity that works the largest muscle groups of your body (quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes).
That, combined with a healthy, lean-as-possible diet.

    Namaste’,
