They may well not be able to get insurance at all.

The question is whether you will get the license back as the DVLA are know to request blood tests to look at blood levels to base the decision on. That is also not just the alcohol level but the liver levels which is the most telling. They do not make the return of a licence a easy task.
Then if the licence is returned you will be looking at specialist insurance via a broker at a huge premium.
