    nutrisystem is what people have been telling me works the fastest. this is obviously because nutrition is the most important part of losing weight and they send you perfectly proportioned meals. its on the expensive side but a ton of people i know have used it an reported anything from 6-10 pounds lost in just the first week. i’ve also heard it doesn’t taste wonderful but hey if you want it gone fast this sounds like its the way.

    walking, walking, walking, did i mention walking? I used to walk for at least 2 hours a day (sometimes all at one time, sometimes separately). On the weekends, I would walk up to 4 hours a day. I lost over 40 lbs in about 4-5 months. I still ate lite during the week and sometimes I would reward myself with a heavier meal on the weekends. I also drank a lot of water and limited carbonated drinks. I have been able to maintain the weight even after I reached my goal.

    A friend of mine lost a stone in a week by contracting Campylobacter while on holiday in India. It was incredibly unpleasant and he passed a lot of blood. He looked thin but I wouldn’t recommend it.

    1-2 pounds a week is considered the safe amount to lose. If you lose too much too fast your body will just fight to put it back on when you’ve lost it.
    I’ve lost a stone in 3 weeks before now when I was really ill, only really because I had trouble swallowing water, let alone any food!

    I’ve lost 18 stone (yes really) used to weigh 28 stone now weigh 10. I lost 15lbs in the first week. How much you lose and how quickly will depend on how much you weigh now. I went to weight watchers and it worked for me. I joined a gym the first day too. Then I started walking and did not stop!

    Now I am a runner – completed a marathon and 3x 1/2 marathons this year. On 21st December it will be one year since I got to my goal weight.

    I lost 12 stone in a year.

    Anything is possible.
