How many people got pg after losing weight?

I’ve heard of women losing weight and then getting pg after trying for a long time. Do you think your weight has anything to do with not getting or getting pg? Any success stories?

Yes this happens often. This is because being fat can stop you getting pregnant. This is one of the main reasons that overweight people aren’t allowed IVF unless they lose weight. Overweight mums are at much bigger risk as are their children. If someone wants a child so badly, then they should lose the weight (as women stop smoking or drinking,or whatever else they have to for the good of their babies) i have seen so many women moan about not being able to have a baby whilst stuffing their faces. I think if it means enough then they will lose weight, but yes this is why when they do they eventually concieve.

The more overweight a woman is, the more difficult it will be for the woman to get pregnant. This goes the other way as well. If a woman doesn’t have enough body fat, then it will be difficult as well.

Here is the link to an article that will give you more details.
