You need to know how tall you are and what you weight in order to tell whether or not or how much weight you need to lose.

    How tall are you?

    How much do you weigh?

    How old are you?

There are growth charts that tell you, or you can find out your BMI and see what you need to do. The age you need to know
in case you are a teen or pre-teen there are different charts than for adults.

    I’ll try to check back.

    Hi again,

Your BMI is 25.3 which is above 92 percent for your age (meaning 92% are below that BMI and 7% are above it).. Since you are growing still at 13, usually the strategy is to eat healthy so the growth is healthy growth and not fat. This is a little slower, but still works.

Depending on tone of your muscles, or how much you exercise, at 130-135 pounds probably a 7/8, and you would be 73% and at 125 pounds you would be at 65% and likely could get back to 5/6.

Any aerobic exercise like brisk walking, running, swimming, biking will get rid of the extra fat on your legs. An hour a day 6 days a week will do wonders.

To lose weight slowly without jeopardizing your maturing process during your teens, eat mostly vegetables – 3-4 servings of fruit, 3-4 servings of vegetables, 3-4 servings of beans, peas, nuts or fish or lean meat, and low fat (no processed meats, fatty meats, fried food, chips, cookies, cakes, etc.). After the fruits and vegetables, and beans/fish/lean meat eat enough whole grains – bread, rice, to just fill you up but not stuff. If you eat some kind of nuts and plenty of vegetables every day you will not need milk, which has growth hormone in it and puts on fat. This diet has been shown to lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes and chronic heart disease as well as keeping you slim.

Get in the sun 15 minutes each day, drink pure water and not soft drinks. You might want to take a multivitamin just for insurance that has vitamin D, as well as fish oil tablets. Good luck!
