How many calories should I consume to gain weight?
I’m a 17 year old male. Weigh about 134 lbs and I’m trying to gain weight. I had surgery on my shoulder but I try to get to the gym 2-3 times a week to work out my legs and abs atleast. I just started that tho. I make a whey protein shake after my workouts. But how many calories should I need to gain weight. And what else should I do?

try to eat at home and not go out so much and check the scale everyday and maybe u will be surprise

I think a pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories. So you would have to consume that amount to put on weight. But then again, you have to consider that you are going to the gym and burning calories, you would probably have to consume more than 3500. You might think about talking to your family doctor to set up an eating plan…One of my guy friends was trying to gain weight…His doctor put him on a 4100 calorie plan.
