I’ve set my mind to lose weight and want the most effective way. I’m considering just counting calories, and working out more. I was just wandering about how many calories is one pound?

One pound is 3,500 calories. To loose a pound you have to burn 3500 calories more than what you consume.

not only do you need to watch how many calories you eat, but what type of calories you eat (fat, protein, carbs…)

I believe 3,500 calories is equivlent to a pound, eating a bit less would help to. lets say you take in 2,000 if everyday you take in 100 less and exersise for 30 minutes a day it should take you less than 35 days!
