How exactly do I lose weight at the age of 13 easy and fast?

My niece is 150 pounds in the 7th grade and she really doesn’t know how to lose weight. She wants the fat gone fast and easy but has no way. I just want her to be happy.

It is possible to lose weight rapidly but you should be realistic and take on board that if you lose weight fast then you will probably put it all back on again just as fast. I lost 10 pounds for the last month when I had a wedding to go to, and I did it by following the instruction given on the web resource in the box below.

You should combine diet and exercise for best and fast results.
    Choose healthy foods you like and replace unhealthy ones you eat in a day with them. Drink lots of water. Stay away from fat and sugar. Dont eat after 7pm. Eat 5 small meals in day, including snacks, not 3 big ones. Eat grilled and boiled foods, not fried and fastfoods. Here is a sample diet plan;
Breakfast: Slices of tomatoes, a piece of cheese, 4 5 olives, 2 egg whites and green tea
    Snack: nuts or fruits
    Lunch: Salad
    Snack again
Dinner: Grilled chicken, turkey or fish and boiled vegetables or salad
You should exercise for best, fast and permanent results. You can exercise at home easily with a good program. And support it with walkings or runnings.
    Good luck:)

Healthy eating and good exercise. Make sure she cuts out candy, soda, and packaged chips. Get her to run or do other strenuous activity for at least sixty minutes a day.

Eat low-fat foods like fruits, vegetables, and non-fried chicken, drink lots of water, exercise by running or riding a bike, do squats and others to firm, and don’t eat excessively. It helped me. I looked horrible until I tried it for three days and I look great and feel better than ever!

You can’t lose weight quickly and safely, it’s impossible.

If you want your niece to avoid long term side effects of radical weight loss, I think it would be best for you or her mother or someone along those lines to accompany her with daily workouts and meal planning so that she feels she has a support system to help and guide her with this.

There is not fast and easy solution to weight loss, you simply have to work hard and be healthy and no one is too young or too old to start being healthy.

I agree with Megan… make sure she is practicing healthy eating habits and getting enough water. Cut out of “whites” (sugar, enriched breads/pastas, baked good, etc.) and eat more protein and lean meats with a good assortment of veggies. Unfortunately, there is no healthy and safe way to lose weight quickly as it didn’t come on quickly. She would most likely benefit best from a lifestyle change; this will set her up for success as an adult as well.

Her target weight at that age should be around 105-120. She needs to start eating healthy and follow a diet plan. Cut out all unnecessary foods and replace them with healthy foods. Eating 5 meals a day, each being a small to medium sized meal.

The most important part is exercise.
Start out 3-5 times a week at no less than 45 minutes a day.
Cardio will be the biggest factor in her workouts. You must reach a peak heartrate and sustain that in order to really start burning calories. Remember: you do not lose weight if your caloric intake is greater than your calories you burn. It is impossible.

It will be very difficult at first and anyone who tells you that they lost weight quick, fast, AND EASILY is lying to you. If in fact they did lose weight easily it will most likely come back quickly.
In order to truly lose weight and keep it off is no secret.
It requires a strict diet, daily exercise, and the motivation to keep going.
Nothing truly worth getting was got easily.
    Equivalent exchange.

she needs to cut back or cut out all the sugars and extra calories she consumes. She also needs to get active. There are plenty of exercises that can be done right in the home.

Drink two tumblers of water on rising from the bed, and in a day drink at least three litres of it.

One third of your food should be low calorie salad. It fills the stomach and gives less calories of energy.

Avoid cream, ghee, sweets and fried food.

Take regular exercise sufficiently, so as to burn more calories of energy, than its intake.

The order of preference of food is (1) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried.

Eat a little less but exercise more. Walk , run, jog, swim . Do this regularly everyday . Go slowly on losing , your body cannot adjust so fast and you will be covered of ugly stretch marks. Go slowly respect your body , this is the only one you have good luck

    Weight loss and weight training
We chose to list this separately from the “exercise” category because of the significant weight loss benefits attached to weight training in and of itself. The basic equation is this: the more muscle tissue you have, the more calories you will burn. This is why world class weight lifters must eat thousands of calories a day to maintain their weight. Muscle is active tissue, fat is not. Thus, muscle “burns” a significant number of calories each day for its own maintenance. In her book Strong Women Stay Slim, Miriam Nelson, a Tufts University researcher, showed that a group of women who followed a weight loss diet and did weight training exercises lost 44% more fat than those who only followed the diet. While aerobic activity can help burn calories, muscle’s where it’s at when it comes to giving your metabolism a significant daily boost even at rest.

Lose weight slowly with small changes
Try to remember that “losing 15 pounds in two weeks” is nothing to celebrate. It is important to realize that the more quickly weight is lost, the more likely the loss is coming from water and muscle, not fat. Since muscle tissue is critical in keeping our metabolism elevated, losing it actually leads to a decrease in the amount of calories we can each day without gaining weight. Fat loss is best achieved when weight is lost slowly. Strive for a weight loss of no more than 1-2 pounds per week. One pound of weight is equivalent to 3500 calories. By making small changes like eliminating 250 calories a day from food and expending 250 calories a day from exercise, you can lose one pound (of mostly fat) per week. You can calculate how much time you need to exercise to burn 250 calories by clicking here. You can calculate your caloric needs by clicking here, and then subtract 250 from that number.
