How does the Slimming World diet work?

You can eat so much food! Lots of potatoes and rice and noodles ect but still lose weight.
And what about plain cocoa powder? Can you have that or is it a syn?
Yes it is high in fruit and veg, but also can eat chips, potatoes noodles rice, as much as you want on some days, other days as much lean meat as you want

It’s something to do with every food having a points value and you have to eat a certain amount of points a day.
A colleague has lost 3 stone since Christmas on the diet.

You are filling up on relatively low calorie food and limiting your high calorie snacks. It is high in fruit and veg and low in fat.

I would’nt trust that diet. Try the South Beach diet by Dr Agatston, it worked for me. For some people they have to excersie, for others they have to watch what they eat. For me, my problem is the food. Carbs to be precise. I was going to the gym almost daily, sweating it out for 2 hours at a time with very very minimal weight loss…until I discovered the South beach diet and lost 5 kg in less than a week! Now two of my housemates are on it, one of which has been on weight watchers for a month with no results. Try it and see how you go!
