How do you lose weight and diet when your a teenager who eats alot?

I’m always hungry and always eating, and even though i’m active usually like walking around town at the mall playing music i recently put on a lot more weight then i would like. i’m not overweight but need to lose a few pounds. How do i lose weight when i’m always hungry and craving food?

    Snack on healthy foods throughout the day. Not only is it good for your metabolism (speeding it up, making you burn more calories), it’s also good for your body and you don’t have those times in between meals where you are absolutely starving. Some good healthy foods that you can snack on are apples, apple slices with peanut butter, grapes, multi-grain cheerios, carrots, etc. Don’t snack on raisins, as those are high in sugar and in calories.

    I’m the exact same way and snacking on healthy stuff is the right way to go.

    my daughter was always a bit chubby, then we moved to an area where the school bus dropped her off at the bottom of a hill and it was literally one mile up to our house. Though at the time she may have thought I was being mean, I told her she needed to climb that hill which she did 5 days a week. The weight poured off her and she was perfectly slim.

    We then moved into town, and though she is an avid walker and walks everywhere, the weight came back.

    I suggest finding a place where you can walk on almost a daily basis that involves walking up a steep hill that is a good mile long!

    So if I may suggest, don’t go crash dieting. You may have meal replacement or dietary supplements like what I did… Have a very nutritional breakfast. And for dinner, have it early.. around 6pm. and don’t starve yourself.. the more you don’t eat, the more your body slows down your metabolism. so when you eat after fasting, the body compensates and slows down metabolism to reserve all the energy it can to keep you going. Whereas when you eat small frequent meals with low calorie and low fat, your body still maintains it metabolism rate.

    If you cut off around 1000 calories a day, I’d say that you would lose 2 lbs. a week. If you are serious in losing weight, try to use herbal products instead of those tablets and other chemicals… Attached here are links to nutrition coach. Ask her about dieting….

    and try one of their tea. It actually helped me lose weight without actually exhausting myself from those exercise..=P I’m sure it’ll help you lose weight… And I mean a lot! It tastes like juice though. =)))))
