how do i lower my bmi without crash dieting?
my bmi is higher than i thought it would be and i need to lower it. i have lost weight since i left home 2 home two years ago.
i am already exersizing more as i am a memebr of a gym now and i go at least 4 times a week.
i eat quite healthy already.
without dieting what can i do?
aparently for my height and weight its high.

If you BMI says you are overweight then the only way to lower it is to diet. Other wise leave it where it is if it says you are at a healthy BMI

the BMI is meaningless. you want to focus on decreasing your body fat. you want to aim for less than average body fat for your gender and age group…

I knew someone who cut everything she got to eat in half. That way she could still eat what she likeed, but with fewer calories.

BMI’s, unless calculated in a medical facility that is measuring your exact body fat content, are absolutely useless. If they are only based on height and weight, they count muscle the same as they do fat. If you’re working out and eating sensibly, you’re physically fit and the BMI is a useless measure. I have a BMI of 45, but it fails to consider that I’m extremely muscular. My fat content is between 10 and 12 percent which is excellent.
