How do i lose weight without execercise during a long period of time?

I want to lose weight and I’ve tried to exercise so many times but its just not for me. AT ALL! I’m in no hurry to lose an extreme amount of weight, i just want to know how to slim down without doing exercise. I’m thinking to do this for about 3 months. I just want to lose about 10-15 pounds. Not too much.

The way to lose weight is to make sure that your caloric intake (i.e. how many calories you eat a in a day) is less than how many calories you burn a day. There’s some websites where you can research how many calories you burn a day based on the activities you do (google calorie count). The good thing about exercise for weight loss is that it allows you to burn more calories in a day, therefore making weight loss easier (it’s also good for your heart and general health). 3500 calories is one pound. So if you eat 1500 calories a day, and calculate that you burn 2000 calories a day, you’ll have a 500 calorie deficit per day (2000 burned – 1500 eaten = 500). This means that your body will use 500 calories worth of energy it has stored as fat. 7 days * 500 calories per day = 3500; you’ll lose a pound a week. That’s just simple math, so be sure to research numbers that would apply to your weight, height, gender and daily activities.

You’re wise in not trying to lose an extreme lot of weight, and not trying to lose it in a short period of time. Losing weight is a simple matter of math: if you lose more calories than you take in, your weight will go down. Controlling what you eat is more important than controlling how many calories you lose through exercise: but, sorry, you need to do both control your eating AND exercise in order to lose weight on a sustainable fashion.

For eating, follow the USDA’s food pyramid (see URL below). Mainly, reduce your fat intake to near zero, e.g., no butter, drink water/zero-calorie soft drinks/no-fat milk; no confectionery, eat fish or other seafood, eat whole grains and lots of fruit and vegetables (I take 7 servings of fruit and vegetables per day). This doesn’t mean an absolute ban on fat; during the course of losing 9 kilos over 9 months and keeping them off, I rewarded myself w/ small servings of all the banned foods if — and only if — I’d done something particularly good, like lost a kilo already that month. For example, a reward might consist of half a scoop of ice cream.

For exercising, there are many books on the matter; I swim. The key is to exercise regularly (at least four times/week), at least 30 minutes/session, w/ warmups and cooldowns. Work exercise into your routines, e.g., walking up stairs instead of taking the elevator, walking to nearby stores instead of driving. Exercise w/ friends or join a fitness club, so the experience becomes more enjoyable. By exercising at a regular time, I’ve made lots of new friends, who help reinforce my will to keep exercising by asking how my workouts are coming, etc.

There is no magic food or method for you to lose weight in a sustainable fashion and quickly, but the above method will; I’ve done it, and am keeping my weight steady. I weigh myself each morning, before breakfast, to keep focused on losing weight.

    1. exercise for 30 minutes every day.
try jogging or running on the tredmill or join a sport like baseball or soccer.

    2. stop eating/drinking anything with refined sugars or that is processed.
sugers turn into fat. Sugars actually turn into fat quicker than other foods

    3. drink 64 oz. of water every day (this might be hard, but that is the amount u should aim to get every day)
When a person is thirsty, the brain sends messages to your throat and stomach. Even though the throat might be trying to tell you that u r thirsty, the signals in the stomach are more noticeable. The stomach makes you feel hungry when you are actually thirsty sometimes. So, when u r hungry, u might be thirsty, so try drinking water first

    4. watch your calories
aim to only eat about 2500 calories a day. One pound of fat is made up of 3500 calories. If you eat less than 2500 calories a day and only eat about 2000 calories a day. If you do this, you will lose about a pound a week

To be more specific, you can…

    1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs

more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of

coffee to get the blood going also.

    2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already

you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning

hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

    3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies,

candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

    4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why

it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

Avoid crash diets. They are bad for health and you will gain what you have lost once you take a break. Crash diets are not a solution to weight loss. It might seem as if you have lost few pounds but the moment you give up on the crash diet every thing will bounce back with a vengeance. Take a look at it in this way. Do you think that it is possible for a person to survive on a crash diet for the rest of his or her life’ Certainly not! So at some time or the other, you will have to give up the crash diet and then you will see for yourself that a crash diet does more harm than good on the long run. Crash diets may have a lot to promise, but very rarely do these promises ring true. Crash diets are things people go on in order to wear an old dress or suit for a particular occasion. That’s the only purpose that they serve as far as I can see.
