How do I lose fat that is left on top of muscle?

I have been working out for a while now, and it seems I have built a significant amount of muscle on my abs, but still have a layer of fat on top. How is the best way to get rid of that to show off the muscles I worked so hard for? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Doing a whole bunch of crunches won’t get rid of the layer of fat, just eating right and cradio. Do cardio for about 30mins four time a week, stay away from the soft drinks, starched foods and sugar. Make sure you drink plenty of water, this helps you get that lean look.

Ok, everyone wants sexy abs. Just about everyone has a fatty tummy. The trick is not overtraining but a calorie reduced diet (please don’t become anorexic and blame me!) with a variety of weight training and some cardio. And…oh yeah, patience! The terrible truth is that many people simply do not have a body shape that allows for the rock hard, rippling abs that are always shown on TV. Most of us can achieve firmer abs that show only moderate results but still look fine. Not the answer you’re looking for? Sorry but after 10 years as working as a fitness trainer, I know how nutty people get about their abs. Remember, healthy should be you goal! Healthy is sexy!

To get rid of that extra layer of fat you need to do some cardio to burn it off(ex:running, biking, elliptical). You might also need to watch what you eat or go on a diet.
