Ok, well I’ve been trying to lose some weight and I want to look thinner and taller.

dont worry about your height. That wont danger your health, plus theres something great about any height. now if your uncomfy about weight i suggest switching from regular soda to diet (but not 2 much), cut back on sweets and bread. but dont cut them out! you do need carbs for energy. Just join a sport for exercise, dont like that? walk your dog, or get moving during commercials on TV. do strength training to speed your fat burning rate (metabolism) that would be squats and crunches. dont skip meals, insted eat 5 little ones every 3 hrs. good luck

rIt’s simple- Change your lifestyle. Eat right and try some light workout. Because of your age you are about to have a change in your metabolism, so take advantage on this and get ready with exorcise and smart food choices. Make a healthy lifestyle. Perhaps you wont notice the difference on this week, But believe me, if smart food and some exorcise are natural to you on your 20’s, you are going to feel and look just the way you want.
    Cheers!-

Become a runner. I have been running for 8 years now and definitely say its a way of life and helps me to remain a thin figure. I would recommend the following:

I would strengthen the core: calves, quads, hams, back and abdominal (the “six pack” muscles along with the obleks), chest and arms. But when strengthening these muscles, I would focus more on the muscle endurance not the muscle bulk. For more advice for this, I would consult with a personal trainer. For the running part, I would stay flexible as it helps/contributes to your balance (so do the muscles in your core) but also helps prevent some injuries like pulled muscles and shin splints. Also, I would try to make up a schedule where you can run for X amount of days and try to have a long run. I would start off slowly, running about 2-3 miles per run for the first week and increase my mileage per week. Make sure you have the following: a good diet, hydration, sleep, a good sense on how to take care of your body, and sleep. Good Luck!!!

Well there are many ways that you could loose weight. If you want to loose weight try some of the following: Slim-fast works and it really does slim you down. (my friend uses it). Another way to loose weight is to not eat junk food as well as sleep alot. Also don’t sleep directly after you ate dinner. This adds fat to your body because your food would just be resting in your stomach due to the position of your body during sleeping(learned at school). Also you should definitely start exercising and swimming because swimming really helps form your legs if you do laps. To get taller I have heard that yoga really can support growth and help speed up the process. Another little tip: do not drink red bull or any other types of energy drinks. They are so bad for you and they have a high amount of sodium. Not only that but they stunt your growth as well. I hope I could be of some sort of help!

The key is: Diet Diet Diet, then exercise:

You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat some protein with each meal! Cut out all refined sugar!!! Also add more fiber. The fiber and protein will fill you up, helping you to cut down on your unhealthy eating. Also by eating more than 3 meals spread out through the day you will kick your metabolism in high gear. Here is a general meal for a day:

    Breakfast: 2 poached eggs
    whole wheat toast
    1/2 cup fruit

    Snack: Cottage Cheese with veggie

Lunch: Turkey, lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread sandwich
    1/2 cup fruit

    Snack: Protein Shake

Dinner: Turkey Burger ( no bun )
    Side of brown rice
    Side of Broc.

Then exercise regularly 4-5 days a week. Do both cardio and lifting. But on days that you do both. Do lifting before your cardio and you will maximize your fat burn. Cardio can be a sport: basketball, soccer, football, anything with losts of movement. Golf is a no no.

    So Example :

Monday – 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
    Tuesday – 1 hour lifting
    Wednesday – Rest
Thrusday – 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
    Friday – 1 hour lifting
    Saturday – Rest
Sunday – 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
