How can I quickly lose weight without doing it in an unhealthy way?
I’m planning on getting back to going to the gym consistently after a long hiatus. However, I am looking for ways to drop weight really quickly (like within two weeks). Is there a way to quickly shed some pounds, without being really unhealthy?
And as another item…are there any good websites that are free that might help me with meal plans and eating right while working out?

Anything that will make you drop pounds quickly is most likely going to be unhelthy. Healthy weightloss is about one pound per week, slow, but much less changes of gaining it back.
Just exercise and eat good and you should be fine.

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7
p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your
initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don’t
eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you
don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your diet is
still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or
to buy special meals or plans.

There cannot really be an answer to your question. Everyone is different when it comes to weight loss. Two weeks is short. Some early bloomers lose lots of weight the first two weeks maybe 5 pounds. Others might only lose a pound. http://www.fitday.com is a free food journal you can use to keep track of your eating.
Good Luck

Physical exercise is important for maintaining physical fitness and can contribute positively to maintaining a healthy weight, building and maintaining healthy bone density, muscle strength, and joint mobility, promoting physiological well-being, reducing surgical risks, and strengthening the immune system. Just because you’re getting healthy doesn’t mean you can’t snack. In fact, eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, or grazing, has been shown to aid weight loss, (compared to eating three large meals a day), by keeping metabolism steadier. Pick snacks that are low in calories and fat and high in fiber (dried apricots, nuts, rice cakes, fruits, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and so on). Vegetables are generally very low in calories, very high in fiber, and full of flavor and nutrition. Generally, you want to – with a combination of calorie reduction and increased activity – reduce and burn a certain number of calories a day, causing a net loss of calories so your body is forced to use its own stores of fat. Food is actually about 80% of your weight loss – so eat healthy exercise!
I started doing core exercises a few years ago – I am a belly dancer, and need my hips to be full, but my abs toned. Core exercises have really toned up everything in my torso including my ribs and back and lower stomach area.
Here is a great website that shows some ab workouts – or CORE training!
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/core-st…
Also I started running. That has helped me overall, and has toned up my thighs and calves as well – don’t know if you are looking for that, but it is a great workout!
Also – I have a personal trainer at my gym and, actually they ALL stress this point very often – you should have one cheat day a week. She always says to stick to a diet 6 days a week and then have a cheat day 1 day a week – that doesn’t mean to go crazy and knock yourself out by eating only chocolate and hoards of it – but go out to eat, eat that slice of cake – enjoy it! And then, then, get back to your normal days or not eating it.
This really helps your body not get too adjusted to the same routine. Your metabolism will slow down if you are staying on the same calorie intake day after day. So you are supposed to change things up. Plus this gives us all something to look forward to!
Good luck with getting those results!!!

There really isn’t any healthy way to lose weight quickly. Weight that you lose quickly comes back even more quickly.
Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.
Make a few additional small changes – walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.
Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can’t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. A couple of the links I’ve included explain how.
In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don’t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you need about 2200 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Drink plenty of water (no fruit juices – too many calories, so get your fruit from fresh fruit nor the juice), at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely. You will begin to see changes in your body.
Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a couple of helpful links.

I have been really searching for something related to this topic and the way you write completely fits my current desires. Can you please make much more about these lines? People are looking for this knowledge and the sort of impartial opinion which you supply.
