I’m around 5’2″ and weigh 180 pounds. I really really wanna lose body fat because people tell me I’m pretty….but I don’t believe them. Losing weight will give me better confidence in myself. Plus I want my boyfriend to love my body as well as my face. So does anyone know how to do it quickly? I would really like to lose at least 40 pounds of fat, more would be cool too ^_^. I’ve been eating healthier food and I would like to lose fat fast but while doing it naturally. Does anyone know the best way in order to do that? I would like to lose a noticeable amount of weight before I go back to school in September….so…..can anyone help me?

How to Lose Weight — and Keep It Off

Become physically active — try walking 30 minutes a day most days of the week.
To lose weight, most women should eat about 1,200–1,500 calories a day.
To lose weight, most men should eat 1,500–1,800 calories a day.
To ensure proper nutrition, women should eat no less than 1,200 calories a day, and men should eat no less than 1,500 calories.
The rate of weight loss will vary among individuals, depending on how much weight needs to be lost.
To lose one pound of fat, you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you take in.
A loss of one to two pounds per week is considered a healthy weight loss.
When you first start to lose weight, you may lose up to three pounds per week due to fluid loss.
People who lose weight gradually are more likely to keep it off.
To maintain your healthy body weight, multiply the number of pounds you weigh now by 15 calories. This number represents the average number of calories used up in one day by a moderately active person.
Overweight people should get no more than 30 percent of total calories from fat. Thirty percent is about 40 grams of fat in a 1,200-calorie diet.
Include at least five servings of fruit and vegetables in your diet each day. In addition to the health benefits of a plant-based diet, the fiber in fruits and vegetables will help you feel full.
Emphasize fruits, vegetables, grains, fat-free and low-fat dairy products, lean meat, fish, poultry.
Fat-free and lower-fat products are a better choice than those containing fat. However, you must still consider calories.
Plan your meals — thinking ahead can save you calories.
Examine your eating habits — keep a written journal of what and when you eat.
Expect temptation — and plan some alternative strategies ahead of time.
Weigh yourself once a week. People who weigh themselves more often may find themselves overly encouraged or overly discouraged because of daily changes in water weight.
Eating breakfast can help many people manage their weight and may help curb binge eating.

If you’ve already changed your diet, you’re on the right path. Start exercising. Something as simple as walking will help you shed the weight. Exercising and eating right are the best way to do things. Just dont get discouraged at slow progress. When it comes to weight loss, it helps to be realistic. 40 pounds by september is ALOT. You want to aim for losing about 2 pounds a week (thats whats reccomended as healthy), but depending on you and your body type, you may lose more of less. Just keep motivated and stick with it. It will be worth it in the end.

First I want you to be happy with where you are. Changing the way you look only lets me know that who you really are doesn’t really matter. Except that fact that you are beautiful even though you are over weight. After you realize that, start making changes in your daily routine. Exercise more and eat more fruits and veggies with. Put away the fried foods. Treat yourself here and there. The weight will definitely come off. Love who you are now so you can love who you are when you lose the weight!

your question is broad. because there is so much to weight management without a specific question, the best thing i can tell you is to check out body for life. this book is by bill phillips and will give you guidelines that you can tailor to your life… in otherwords it’s a lifestyle… not a diet. you can lose weight quickly, or you can do it right. if you lose it quickly you will lose muscle, which will kill your metabolism… so you will regain more easily. when done correctly, weight loss should support continued loss or maintenance. unfortunately when you rush it… you often rebound and wind up gaining more than you lost. fortunately… you are saying you have a month to feel better. when done correctly, you should be able to feel and see differences in less than two weeks. by the time that a month passes your boyfriend and others will start to notice too! so take it easy, relax, and enjoy the challenge!

i read in the internet. there’s one weird way of reducing weight fast. invented by the japanese.
    – take a small straw (like those lollipop straw) cut into 6cm long. blow it frequently (while u wash ur dish, sweep floor, seeing tv) it builds the muscle on your stomach. blow it as long as possible and slowly.
