How can I loose weight and gain muscle in the process?
I am 15 and I am about 10 pounds over weight. I would like to shed that off and gain muscle in the process while keep doing so for the rest of my life. Could you please lay out some diet plans, exercises, and useful tips.
I have a gym about a mile away from my home.

perfect, you can jog a mile to the gym about 3 times a week and use their machines to build some muscle – as for the amount of weight, stay light, and do a lot of reps (about 30 per machine) – also, on the days you don’t go to the gym (so you can let your muscles relax), you can go bike riding (assuming you have a bike) or go jogging, swimming, etc.
As for what to eat, you should be eating at least 1200 calories. It would be best to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day (about 200-300 calories each). These meals should consist of whole grains, lean meats, fruits, veggies, and nonfat dairy products. don’t eat any fast food, over processed foods, sweets, red meat, or white bread/white rice. Make sure to drink plenty of water, drink nothing but water!
good luck!
