How can I improve my memory ?

No person was born with bad memories; as such, anyone can do something to improve his or her memory. If you feel your memory is inadequate, you can compensate for it, enhance it and improve it. However, other people who experience memory loss may sometimes indicate other conditions like Alzheimer’s disease. If a doctor has found no medical condition, then you can simply follow these three steps:

1) Sleep Properly – Many students cram the night before a test studying not knowing that memory can become impaired quickly without adequate sleep. Studies show that studies without proper sleep before an exam achieve lower grades than those who slept well. Adults need at least 8 hours of sleep daily.

2) Exercise – Walking, dancing and performing other aerobic exercises could help you enhance your memory because exercise can provide you with more oxygen, which your brain cells need to work more effectively. Exercise also helps in reducing stress, which is a huge factor in concentration problems.

3) Eat Healthy – In order to keep your blood sugar stable and your mind active, you need foods high in dietary fiber, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Most dieticians recommend giving kids eggs or other protein, yogurt and drinks made of whey protein or soy for breakfast to improve concentration and enhance memory.

Once you’ve done changes in your bad sleeping and eating habits as well as your sedimentary lifestyle, you can experience memory improvements and receive long-term health benefits from such changes. Another thing that can help have a good memory, better concentration and use your brain to its maximum potential is to keep using it. While the human brain is not a muscle, it works like one, so the more you use it, the more it would stretch its limits.

Don’t fall from memory enhancement devices available in the market today. You can get better effects in improving your memory and mental capability if you do it the natural way.
