How can a 14 year old male lose belly fat fast?

HOW CAN A 14 YEAR OLD MALE LOSE BELLY FAT FAST?

Here’s the basic facts:

-I’m 14 years old, 3 months
-I’m 5 ft. 2 in. tall
-I weigh 109 lbs.
-Length around the fattest part of my stomach is 31 in.

Here’s the more in-depth facts:

~I have a pretty good diet. I don’t eat as much junk food as the average American. My Mom feeds me quite healthy meals, and I don’t have dessert often, so diet is not an answer I want.

~I think exercise might be the problem. I sometimes shoot baskets outside, or play a random game with a bunch of other kids on Friday, but that’s mostly it. Nothing intense, really. Do you know of any suggestions for workouts I can do to lose belly fat especially?

I’m losing my more of my self-confidence each day. Please help!!! =(

Thanks ya’ll! This is really helpful info! ^.^

basically all you would need to do is any kind of exercise (situps, pushups, wight lifting). make a daily routine and stick to it.

Using your body’s own strangth a great way to keep in basic shape

Start with doing 10-20 sit ups, and 10-20 pushups every day. Make it a routine like right before you go to bed or something so you always remember.

Exercise takes time to show results so be patient and do it every day. Also exercising will make you feel better, you’ll be able to sleep better and stuff. You’ll see 🙂

    Good luck

do 30-50+ sit ups a night for a couple months. you will feel the pain the next day but that just means your stomach muscles are getting a work out they havent been getting for a while. after a while you will notice the difference!

I’m 14 too and i eat healthy but not diet, i don’t eat junk food and the best is exercising.
the best exercise is sit-ups. lay down and put your legs high on a wall as much as you can and begin going up. stay up as much as you can that will work your stomach muscles. In no time you will lose it all and gain some muscles.
    I do it myself.
    I hope i helped

Chicken 109 is fine for your weight, so i wouldnt worry too much :]
your diet seems fine. So to lose the belly you should start doing sit-ups. Try 10 in the morning and 10 in the evening. Then raise that to a higher number when you feel like you can do more. If you can do more than that now, then great!
jogging is a good workout for any area of the body, so try and fit some of that in during your week. Run for 3 minutes, walk for 2 and then run for another 3. that should get you started. As the days/weeks go on, increase the running time and slowly decrease the amount of time you walk for until you get to the point where you can run without stopping for long. Deffo keep up the basketball, i imagine that it could be good exercise (never played it, dont get it much here in the UK)
Swimming is a great workout aswell, an hours swim can burn over 300 calories so try and fit an hour or so maybe 3 times a week? Try and swim without stopping and make sure you move as much of your body as possible.

I hope i’ve been some help! Good luck chicken!

at 14, your body is still growing alot, and your body will naturally store resereves for the tremendous amount of energy required to build/expand bones and muscles. besides 110lbs is normal for your height, if you’re really paranoid about your weight, cut out ANY fast food, (i know its hard, take my word for it i havent eaten any in 3 months)candies, and SODA!! get atleast 4 days/week of cardio, at your age, you should easily run a mile/day with no problem. challenge yourself. also start doing some weight training but keep the weights light. throwing on too much weight can actually stunt your growth. grab some 10 lb dumbells and do some curls, do some crunches, pull ups, push ups, you’ll be in great shape in no time. I personally run 3 – 4 miles PER DAY (part of training for the fire dept.) and trust me, when i started to try and get back in shape 1 year ago ( 19, 5’10” 200lbs) it was difficult, after a month i dropped 15 lbs and was up to easily running 1.5 miles in under 10 minutes. make it a lifestyle to run daily and you’ll never have to worry about your weight/fitness again (and lay off the fast food).
