I want to know if a wii fit user has lost weight with it too!!

But here’s a guideline to help, if you break a sweat doing it then your good. If you break a sweat for most of the workout then your really good.

I’ll check back to see if anyone knows specifically on the wii fit, good question

I noticed two of your answers are redirecting you to sites where you have to pay for the info, I dont know about a wii fit BUT a way I totally changed my body shape plus lost a lot of weight was to get a fit ball, a resistance band and hand weights. You will be amazed at the difference in just a couple weeks. Look for a ball that comes with a dvd aswell so you can learn all the exercises, some have different levels, I only did beginner and was really happy with the results. Maybe google fit ball dvds. The cost is not that expensive and the results are astounding.

its supposed to be done as part of an excersise regime, its not supposed to make you lose weight alone, its there to help you monitor your fitness and help along with going to the gym or something 🙂

    Yep 🙂
Got it about 2 months ago. Have been doing the body test and the muscle, yoga exercises and going for walks as well as changing my diet to 1200-1500 cal per day. Have lost 1 stone 8lbs (22lbs). I have 2stones and 10lbs to go but the Wii keeps me motivated and I like to see my Mii getting slimmer :-).
I find some of the aerobic exercises too easy and don’t break a sweat but I made myself a little step to put the board on to make the step up exercises harder, now I am knackered by the end of the 30 minutes of step ups.
I love my Wii Fit! 🙂

Yes you can – 7lb for me in 6 weeks so far. I’m not dieting as such either, but switched to eating sensibly as part of my Wii fit program. It is the aerobic exercises that are the ‘fat burners’, so you do need to bias your workouts towards them. The balance games are fun, but not really any use for weight loss. I tend to start off with 1 or two of those for fun, follow on with the muscle workouts and yoga and then finish with the aerobic stuff such as the Island lap on the jogging. If you do the jogging, I find it best to do a sort of exaggerated jog on the spot to work up a sweat

Its best also I think to do at least 30 mins of Wii fit exercise time (which probably takes 45 mins or so of real world time) several times a week.

I also find it best to only take the body test once a week, at the same time each week – I find morning is best. You’ll get more consistent results that way.

Keep at it and you’ll see the difference!
