Have you lost extra weight or gained health benefits from green tea?
I know you can’t lost weight by just drinking green tea, but I’ve heard it can help boost your metabolism and HELP you lost weight. I drink it for caffeine purposes. I also stay to on a controlled diet, and I exercise, so I’m not looking for a quick fix.

Yes it is very beneficial to drink green tea because it does boost you metabolism and may assist with loosing weight. But it also helps decrease bloating and gives you HEAPS of antioxidants to keep you from getting sick. I say drink the green tea it won’t make you put on weight and it has so many beneifits.

Not a quick fix. Just doing the green tea alone wont do the trick . Yes its good for you. yes the caffeine will boost your heart rate resulting in high metabolism, but eating a piece of fruit is also good for you and it wont effect your weight noticeably. Make sense?
You also mentioned ” I also stay to on a controlled diet, and I exercise, so I’m not looking for a quick fix.” I would look at your diet in whole and also look at how you are exercising. If you are on the treadmill are you running, walking, or sprinting? If you want a good weight loss tip, try interval training. Combo of sprinting and walking. This will be better for you then any green tea. Look up “HIIT” or “high intensity interval training” Its far from fun, but thats why it works soooooo well.
