Has anyone used these new flexi-bar things for getting fit? Saw one on ideal tv and wondered if it was a con?

Just go and buy a thin steel bar and fix two weights to it – £5

Good money making scam on the fitness side

There is always some new gimmick out there for losing weight. The sad thing is that most of the ideas around these gimmicks are based off of fact. In this case, you want to get fit and you know that it will take something…some sort of tool to do that. Hence, the flexi-bar.

For the price of these items, that will just end up folding up neatly under your bed, you can buy a month long membership to a gym and start on your own fitness quest with a lot of tools to work with instead of being limited to only one thing.

And even if you do achieve results with the flexi-bar, you still have to vary your workout to maintain those results…which will mean that you eventually end up at the gym anyway.

Also, the flexi-bar alone won’t take you to dramatic results without a restrictive diet and much more exercise than the flexi-bar can provide.

If you absolutely have to invest in workout equipment, buy a commercial-grade treadmill and a set of hand weights.

    Good luck!

I have a flexi-bar, it works really well, i use it 4 times a week. it works all the muscles you didn’t know you had. i was always at the gym then i had a baby and i had less time to do any exercise. make sure you get the dvd with it. it doesn’t take long to do. takes a few go’s to get the hang of it but once you have you can really feel the muscles working hard.

if your worried about wasting money, why don’t you look on ebay?

good luck if you decide to get one!
