Got a few tips for someone who needs to lose some weight?

So, I was fine 5 years ago ….then I met my bf and gained like 40 pounds. He said it was getting out of hand and he plays with my fat all the time. The rest of my family also thinks I’m fat now. =(

I need some motivation and some tips to help me get healthy again! Any kind of weight loss tips would help! =)

Thanks!

Some kind of exercise for at least 4-5 days out of the week like walking, running, riding a bike. Pick something you don’t find tedious so you’ll be able to keep doing it. Laying off too many starchy foods or sweets or junky foods. Not eating four hours before bed. Shifting most of your calories to breakfast and lunch. Taking the stairs instead of an elevator. Walking short distances instead of driving. Quit being down on yourself and envision yourself as you want to be.

Drink plenty of water–not vitamin, or flavored or whatever other stuff they are telling you you need…just plain old water.
    Eat breakfast.
Avoid processed and pre packaged foods.
    Exercise
Do not replace meal calories with alcohol or soda pop. Do not use artificial sugars. Count calories.

when u excersie make sure you are breathing in the air!
and after you work out or run don’t drink that bottle of water right away, wait a few seconds and then take in sips little at a time, just not all at once. definetly have some motivating music while excersing, and excers more than you eat. But make sure you EAT! healthy food, not greesy fast food. when dieting, and you want to cut back on some unhealthy diets, dont make a drastic change, gradually make small changes down the road. you need food inorder to have any energy to excercise and if you do the owld fasion way of dieting, starving your self, you will only end up fatter! your body will go in defence mode when you starve yourself, so you must keep eating healthy inorder to avoid your body from turning everything you eat into fat once it enters your mouth.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, water helps you burn more fat since in provides more oxygen for your system. and you must be patient when it comes to losing fat, your not just throwing it away but your toning muscles, tighnign your skin, sucking in blood vessels that have form on top of the fat and so on. it takes so long to lose it not because it doesn’t work but because it’s a long process. and allways remember, You Must Agree with what you decide. if your mind does’t agree with what you do then your body won’t except it.

first of all, what led to the weight gain? lack of exercise or bad diet? if neither than it could be something hormonal. you need to see a endocrinologist.

otherwise, here is what my dietician recommends – follow a practical diet. have a snack every three hours. fruit or soy nuts. just 2 tablespoons of soya nuts subside hunger pangs Make sure your plate has this ratio – 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein. eat 900 gms of veggies a day. lose one kilo a week. that is the ideal.
Pick an exercise regime you like. for exercise, can you afford to buy a good quality trampoline? 5 min on a tramp + 30 min on a treadmill. and it is a whole lot healthier.

buy a pedometer, and take 10,000 steps a day

The comments on exercise and eating less sugar and reducing fats are all correct. Each of those wil help.

It would be good to get an overall view of what is needed to lose weight. Check out the article at http://www.thehealthsuccesssite.com/weight-loss.html

It is all about setting up something you can live with. You need to keep your metabolism strong at teh same time as reducing calories.

Get it right and it all work. Get it wrong and it is all just too hard.

Heyyyy. I just lost about 24 pounds since the beginning of the new year and I did it with Alli.
Alli works really well, and I just exercised. I haven’t been exercising lately but I’ve been eating healthy. I don’t drink soda or anything, just water, water, water.
Without exercise I’ve still been losing weight.
    I started at 184 and I’m down to 160.
I don’t even want to go back to eating badly either.
The hardest part is starting, too..
& Trust me, I started b/c I moved in with my bf & gained weight.Check out the website.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process (it’s really good for detox, you’ll feel much healthier). I recommend you check this website
http://www.diet-easy-now.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!
