feel weird after getting off treadmill?
i feel kind of dizzy but not in a nauseous way when i get off the treadmill, even from just walking fast, but it goes away in like 5 minutes or less. it’s weird because i can go on really long bike rides or play sports and lift weights (and even run), feeling fine. i know i am drinking enough water too. do u think it is from disorientation, because i am running but not going anywhere, which is weird for my mind?

ask your gym instructor if it is normal

I get the same thing, and I am only 14, I go to a youth gym after about 20 minutes on the treadmill, I get off and find myself walking much faster than i normally do. I am sure its nothing bad, I think its just like that because your body muscles have gotten use to your above average walking speed, i should not worry.

Yes, I get the same feeling when running on the treadmill……think it’s b/c your moving and nothing else around you is, feels like your walking on a cloud about to fall off. Just walk around slowly for a few minutes and your body will get adjusted…..totally normal.

Interesting observation. Likely what’s happening is this:
When you are on the treadmill, even just walking fast, you likely are kicking up your heart, making it work harder than when biking, doing sports, and especially weight lifting.
This means that your heart is pumping a large amount (high volume) of blood, transporting especially oxygen, fairly quickly throughout your body – including your head.
When you get off the treadmill, right after running, jogging, or even walking fast, you bring the need for so much blood throughout your body to a halt. Your heart slows down, and doesn’t pump as much with each heartbeat.
And with this, less blood, less oxygen, flows to your head. Thus, the dizziness.
If you don’t like the feeling . . . which you don’t . . . you can avoid this by slowing down on the treadmill gradually, over five or ten minutes until you reach a walking speed of 3 or 3.5 miles per hour. Or, until you reach a substantially lower heart rate.
Likely you can check your heart rate on the treadmill. If you can, check your heart rate at the end of your workout – slow down – and when your heart rate is 30 to 40 beats per minute slower, you likely can get off the treadmill and not experience the dizziness.
For example, this may mean your heartbeat at the end of a workout (walking fast, jogging, or running) is at 140 beats per minute; after slowing down, gradually, to the slower walking speed, after a few minutes it could be and should be about 110 beats a minute. That’s likely a time when you can step off and not feel dizzy.
Regards,
Phil
P.s., I noticed when reviewing this I wrote “likely” a number of times. Sometimes it’s hard to tell definitely what’s going on without actually seeing what’s happening!

One thing I would like to say is the fact that car insurance termination is a hated experience and if you are doing the appropriate things being a driver you won’t get one. A lot of people do obtain the notice that they are officially dropped by their insurance company and many have to scramble to get extra insurance following a cancellation. Affordable auto insurance rates are generally hard to get following a cancellation. Having the main reasons concerning the auto insurance cancelling can help individuals prevent sacrificing one of the most crucial privileges accessible. Thanks for the tips shared through your blog.
