nope, running is circles is one of the weirdest things i have ever heard. Wont do anything except make you dizzle. If you want to lean out your legs keep running for long distances. Dont sprint. The longer you run the more you body will need to use muscle for energy and the more skinny your legs will become. Goodluck!

The best way to lose weight without exercising is to use the special formula acai berry that Oprah and Rachel Ray on tv use. It was so easy to lose the weight and keep it off!! Check out my blog

    jog a lot of miles.

    distance burns fat.

    eat right!

    use the food pyramid,

    dont over eat!

    no! that doesn’t work.

any type of exercise will burn fat and gain muscle.
but don’t worry, even though the scale says you’re gaining more (though it can’t be much) you’ll notice you’re looking thinner & your clothes will fit differently, even if the number on the scale is pretty much the same.

muscle weighs more than fat, remember 🙂
and it won’t happen overnight, but that’s a good thing. if you lose weight so quickly you’re much more likely to gain it back fast.

good luck! don’t give up 🙂

Unfortunately, someone has been pulling your leg, no pun intended. Running a ton WILL make you lean down, but not necessarily in a good way. Running will cause you to lose muscle as well as fat. I would suggest some resistance training (weight lifting) a few times a week to burn fat without burning muscle.

One important thing to note is your diet. You need to make sure that you are eating enough, or you are wasting your time with any amount of exercise. Get plenty of protein and eat healthier. Drink more water. Then, make sure you are eating approximately 500 calories less than your maintenance level.

    Best of luck!

I’ve never heard about the circles before… but definitely running on trails or a track will reduce your fat and add muscle, so I would recommend eating healthier or walking around the track.

Oh, how much I understand you! But all these cardio workout programs and diets just don’t work… Reading a lot on this subject, I found out how many unproductive myths there are about how we gain and how we should lose fat! It’s amazing..

For instance, that there is no fat loss magic to doing cardio on an empty stomach. In fact, most trainers “in-the-know” are using intervals instead of slow, boring cardio to help their clients burn fat fast. And honestly, who wants to be doing boring cardio at 6am while their stomach is rumbling? And now, it’s finally discovered that long cardio or aerobic workouts several days a week are the WORST WAY to burn fat.

The fact is we’re burning fat all the time, even while you sit and read Yahoo Answers here. So you don’t need working out every day, but it’s just enough to do 3 short home fitness workouts per week of 45 minutes with no cardio at all…

Maybe the greatest is the Late-Night-Eating myth… And here I too discovered that what my body usually tells me was the right thing: Going to bed hungry is one of the WORST THINGS YOU CAN DO.

A proper permanent fat loss is about throwing away those good old myths and start doing the right thing in the most natural way. It’s called Fat Furnace; see here: http://tinyurl.com/ffurnace
