    There are no “secrets” to weight loss. It is very simple: eat less, and exercise more.

    Anyone who offers you advice or a diet or anything, and wants money for it, is only concerned about making your wallet lose weight.

    There is only one sure fire way to lose weight and that is to use up more calories than you take in. If someone had the magic answer, we’d all be slim and trim.

    Eating sensibly and gentle exercise is the answer. Dieting alone doesn’t work – the weight will come back and sometimes you end up weighing more than before you lost the weight.

    Walking is a great way to start a fitness program – it costs nothing. I lost 25 lb. and all I did was started to walk – 20 minutes of gentle strolling at first every other day and I worked up to 40 min. every other day of brisk walking. I did modify my diet a little too – lots of fresh vegetables, low fat yogurt, whole grain breads and cereals and protein with every meal.
