The E111 form is no longer valid. You will need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive necessary healthcare during a visit to an European Economic Area (EEA) country
You can apply online for this card here: https://www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do

The ehic card will cover emergency treatment but should something happen, insurance should cover getting you home, looking after lost luggage or valuables, if the worst happened, bringing home your body etc – would you want to NOT have it?
Have fun

no, just e11 cards bhappy.x

An EHIC will get you medical treatment, but travel insurance will pay for you to come home. And will also be useful when your wallet gets stolen.

Its up to you but I think its not necessary – the cover under the EHIC or whatever its called will be enough for emergencies and the costs of travelling between the two countries is affordable so that you should be able to get home for treatment in the UK without breaking the bank and if the worst should happen again the costs of transport are not huge (its not Austalia, its our closest European mainland neighbour!)

E111’s no longer exist. It is now the EHIC card, but you still need insurance, either through your travel agent, or organised by yourself through an insurance company.

I wanted to create you a tiny word to say thanks the moment again relating to the incredible information you have featured on this page. This has been really unbelievably generous with you to convey extensively all many people would’ve offered for sale as an ebook to end up making some bucks for their own end, most importantly considering the fact that you might have tried it in case you desired. These strategies as well acted to be the good way to realize that other people have a similar passion just like my personal own to learn whole lot more related to this issue. I’m certain there are millions of more pleasurable periods up front for people who read through your blog post.
