Carl lewis treadmill model TP12 – Miles or KM?
Hi,
Does anyone have a Carl lewis treadmill? Could you tell me how to switch from km to miles? is the factory setting on miles or km to begin with? Not sure how far I’ve been running!

If you are running you need something to do with your mind, so you can work it out as you go…
1 mile is 1.6 km
1km is 0.62 miles – so as you run you can practice your maths as you go
(5km – 3.1 miles, 10k – 6.2 miles, 5 miles – 8km, 10 miles – 16km, 1/2km – 0.31 miles, 1/2 mile – 0.81 km)
Same with speed, you can worn that out as you go, 1.6km/h to every mph.
Now to find out what units ot goes in you might have to walk on it for 10 minutes and see how far it says you go. If you walk at a comfortable pace, if the distance is more than 4 its in km, less than 4 its in miles.
I’m not sure what the treadmill measures distance in though.
