Can you gain muscle even if you are only eating enough to maintain your weight?

I am eating 1800-2000 calories a day. That amount usually maintains my weight. I am doing muscle building exercises such as weigh training, press-ups, sit-ups and squats. Can I gain muscle even without eating more?

If what you eat is just enough to keep you on your current weight and you want to gain more muscle you’ll have to eat more, if you’d just train harder your body will burn more calories which if it doesn’t get that will take from your fat reserves.
Your muscles need amino acids (which your body produces from protein) to grow, and need carbohydrates to burn during your work out. So you do have to eat more to grow more muscle.
