Americans living in America with health insurance , would you sit and suffer if you couldnt afford health care?
As a follow on to my other similar question. Every one with health care and the money to pay for it has no problem with the system…surprisingly. What if the boot was on the other foot. Would you suffer in silence???

Many many people have suffered through many medical problems because they can’t afford insurance or the health care that they really need.
I know of this situation personally, as do many people I know.
We need change. It is high time for this madness to end. Decent health care needs to be available to ALL people.

Many people become very sick & hurt themselves before dealing with health care costs. Others ride the system & clog up the health care system. Doctors are just raking in the money either way.

Or go to the doctor get a payment plan, and then be in debt. I mean if it’s to the extent where it would be considered as ‘suffering’, it would have to be some serious ailment. I remember looking at my insurance bill and saw how much it was to do a simple x-ray, blood test(liver, etc.), & trust me I would probably still be paying for it til I kick the bucket if I didn’t have insurance. With that said, I can definitely see how people would choose to JUST DEAL with it!!

Who has to suffer? You don’t understand that you can work out payment with your doctor or hospital. There are programs that help you afford health care if you can’t pay. Everyone can get health care. I have had insurance on and off for years. I have managed to get health care with no problem over the years with and without insurance. You act as if this is a situation for the haves and havenots and that just isn’t the case. The new health care bill is a power grab by the government. Infact, many people will end up loosing the insurance they have from their job if the bill is passed. People will loose their insurance because the bill makes it so that it isn’t worth it for your employer to keep paying for health insurance or at least paying for part of it. All I can say is that you need to read the bill.
