    I totally agree.

I think they’re just burying their heads in the sand because they don’t want to hear that losing weight is really hard work.

Probably because there is so much conflicting information out there.
Some say if you do this it hurts you, others say that doing that very same thing will benefit you. No one knows who to listen too.

Most people already know the answer – fewer calories in, more calories burned (ie diet and exercise). Some people may just need the reminder for motivation, but what most people are looking for is the easy way out – the quick fix. They want the results without having to apply effort or willpower.

It’s not that black and white.

I’m curious to know how you define “obvious”. Or, what do you think the answer is on how to lose weight or diet.

    edit: Girl below me.

Diet and exercise WILL WORK for everyone when applied correctly. “Applied correctly” is the phrase to pay attention to.

Because it is NOT Obvious. Diet and Exercise doesn’t work the same for All. That is why they are confused. Some people can diet and exercise till they are blue in the face and still won’t lose weight. Just like skinny people who can’t GAIN Weight.

    I wander about this too.

All the lazy fat people who say diet and exercise don’t work.. Okay how about a simple method… More calories out than in?
    Isn’t that obvious?
