What should I eat to gain muscle mass, and keep from gaining fat?

Im trying to gain more lean muscle look. While keeping out more unnecessary fat. What should i look for in foods and keep away from.
I really don’t want to use steroids, i already have build muscles, Just trying to make them more defined.

    Protein .. protein and more protein! Eat meats and nuts. Tuna is a great source of protein as with peanut butter, almonds, etc. Try to avoid processed nuts because all of the NaCl (salt) that’s added.
