i want to loose weight really quickly before my xmas holiday. My friend told me to go on a liquid diet but it was too sincere. ive tried those sensible diets where you eat healthy food but they take too long. How can i loose weight really really quickly without starving myself?

There is no healthy way to lose weight that fast. I don’t know about you but I’d rather spend my holiday in a bulky sweater than half dead.

You might want to try low-carb. Just stick to chicken/fish/veggies and maybe 1-2 servings of fruit like apples/berries per day and drink lots of water.

first, cut out all junk food, chips, crackers, gravy, sauces
next, replace soda with diet soda or just with water
same – replace any fruit juice with water
begin a strict exercise regimen – cardio + weight lifting
eat lots of veggies and fruits – they make you feel full
drink a cup of water before eating to feel fuller
make sure to eat breakfast, don’t eat dinner too late – 4 hours before sleeping
cut your food portions in half
–this should definitely aid in helping you to lose weight. in a healthy way! =)

Do you want the weight to stay off or are you ok with gaining twice as much after failing a crash diet?
It’s very difficult to lose more than three pounds a week and actually keep it off. Losing three pounds a week is even difficult.
Take this into consideration:
To lose 1 pound you have to go into a calorie deficit of 3500. Your BMR is what you would burn if you did nothing but exist for the day (no activity). Based on your weight, age, and gender you should be able to estimate your BMR
You should just eat that many calories per day and exercise.

You should be aware that the question should be “what is the best way to loose weight?”
There are protein based diets that work very fast in the first two weeks (even 20 pounds).
To achieve that you have to lower your carbohydrates consumption down to 60 grams a day or less.
You can find the amount of carbohydrates in the nutritional table of your food. If you eat fresh food, then you have to search this information for the meal you like. Anyway any modern recipes book has all the data you need to know about carbs, fats, etc. of each recipe.
Also, you have to avoid soft-drinks, and be very easy on coffee.
A final comment: Be careful. Don’t play with your nutrition. Is your body, not a dress!

There is a diet that hospitals give to patients when being schedule for a heart surgery. It’s designed get rid of fat from the body and grease away from the blood/arteries. Basically its a NO sugar NO starch diet. You can eat meats but it would be only Chicken breast or Turkey breast cooked in the oven. Tuna fish is also a good selection. Plenty of green vegetables with ONE table spoon of fat free dressing. Drink at least 1 gallon of water a day.
DO NOT EAT:
pasta, rice, bread (of any kind), beans, peanuts, potato or other white thick potato like vegetable. All of these convert to sugars in the body and will store fat.
Do not drink anything else but water. Forget the flavored or seltzer water. The only other thing you need to drink after every meal is cup of 100% pure non sweetened “not from concentrate” grapefruit juice. The nasty tasting kind. DO NOT DRINK THE OCEAN SPRAY. It contains apples and other fruits. If you can’t find this juice then eat a grapefruit with every meal instead. Do Not Ad Sugar to the grapefruit.
DO Not eat any other fruits during this time.
KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT DIET AND IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS.
A simple plan to follow is:
Breakfast:
1 hardboiled egg or scrambled, You can have salt but dont O.D. 1 slice of bacon, or 1 sausage link and a grapfruit or 100% pure unsweetened not from concentrate grapefruit juice. If you dont eat eggs then replace the breakfast menu with a lunch menu. Can can even make a Sausage link wrap. Take t leaves of lettuce. Fold them and wrap them around the sausage link and chew away.
BREAKFAST IS THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN HAVE A SMALL PEICE OF RED MEAT.
Lunch:
Tuna fish, chicken breast or turkey breast (no red meat, aka steak, pork, lamb, deer, rabbit, bear, horse, dog, or cat)
Lettuce and tomato with 1 table spoon of dressing.
You can eat as much of lettuce and the okay meat as you can handle but don’t go stretching your stomache. Eat till you are satisfied.
Dinner: Same choices and Lunch.
DO NOT EAT AFTER 7 PM.
DO NOT SNACK.
NO DAIRY (milk, yogurt, cheese)
YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT.

Take Flinstones vitamins ONCE a day just incase you think you may be missing out on some vitamins.
IF you REALLY want to lose weight fast Do this diet.
If you’re not serious about loosing weight then go ahead and deviate from the plan.
If this sounds impossible for you, then eat what you want and throw it all up afterwards but I must warn you. You may get sick and die.

P.S. This diet really works and works best when your active and not moping around the house all day long. My wife I tried it.
I found myself gaining weight since an accident I had 9 months ago. Having been temporarily disabled I was less active. I tried the diet and lost 13 pounds from 249 to 136 in 30 days. My wife (who is on the heavy side) lost 15 pounds as she went back and forth from school. Now I generally loose more weight than her when we try a diet. But since she was more active than I she lost more of the weight. We lost this weight but yet we cheated. How did we cheat well we sure didnt splirge on twinkies and junk. We maybe had pasta, rice, or potato at least once a week. We probable ate a steak, beef stew, hamburger or hot dog once a week. But for maximum results don’t cheat. You have a specific goal. We didn’t/don’t.
P.P.S. We have not regained the weight. Every now and then we skip a starch. Every now and then we drink only water.
