What is the best way to lose belly fat and tone abs?

Firstly I would like to lose some weights. Im pretty sure that once most of your belly fat is gone, your abs become more visible. Any good strategies to get rid of that belly fat? It would also be great to get fit. I want to do this in about 4 months before my basketball season begins.

    CARDIO. Take your pick. Go for a jog, go swimming. As long as your heart rate is up you know you’re doing the right thing. Stop eating fast food and junk and drink lots of water. You’ll notice results in no time.

    You can’t spot reduce fat. You have to reduce overall body fat and often the fat around the middle is the last to release. So for your abs to show you have to have a very low percentage of body fat.

    I also tell my clients to eat smaller meals more times (5-6) per day. When a body is starved it will store fat. When it believes that times are good (when it’s being feed good nutrition often) it will release fat.
