What is the best way of exercising to lose weight?

I need to start losing weight, i wanted to start jogging, but don’t live in a great area and don’t fancy goin out after work.
Are exercise bikes a good way to lose weight?
I’m wondering whether it turns ft into muscle straight away or does it burn all the fat first?

The best exercise is the one you will actually do.

If you do it, it will work. If you don’t do it, then it won’t.

Yes exercise bikes are a good way to burn extra calories.

Fat does not miraculously turn into muscle. Fat is burned and then our muscles show.

You need to focus on your diet if you really want to lose fat, though. Our diet is 80% of it.

first off make sure you don’t over work yourself. a half hour of exercise is recommended.
anything that makes your heart beat faster and your breathing quicker is helping you lose weight, exercise bikes or treadmills are a good purchase as long as you don’t lose motivation. wii fit also works!

also you don’t need to be jogging around outside to get exercise, I find a good hours walk around the shopping centre is a good way to keep fit 🙂

    good luck!

Best way to lose fat(not weight) is doing something intense. Whet ever it’s jumping up and down really fast for one straight minute, or speeding swiftly on your bike a certain distance, as long as it’s intense it will burn your use your fat as energy.

The point is that through intense training make your body first use up all the glycogen in your blood, and then keep training. Your body will switch to body fat as a primary energy source, instead of carbohydrates.

The best way to achieve this is through Tabatha intervals.

Air Squat: 20 seconds of work doing air squats(mind your form and keep your back straight), then 10 seconds of rest by just standing still. You repeat this for four minutes, which makes it 8 rounds of Squat and rest.
You can also do this on a bike, or a cross trainer, but then when you rest you will still have to move slowly and keep an “active” rest.

    Burpees are also very effective.

Now aside from that, you still need to maintain a good enough diet so that you won’t stunt your progress. Keep away from sugar and carbohydrates, as your body will begin lipogenesis(body fat creation) as soon as it comes into contact with any kind of sugar.

PREPARE YOUR OWN FOOD AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

While more and more restaurants are offering low-carb friendly menu items, many of them are still not ideal low-carb fare. There are many recipes for quick and easy meals that you can prepare yourself at home. Try to do this as often as possible.

If you cook your own foods, you know exactly what the contents are and you will be able to better control for hidden sugar and otherwise processed foods.

Another benefit is the cost savings over the long run. Even if you must go to the grocery store more often, you will save a significant amount per meal as opposed to eating at restaurants and fast food establishments.

It will also be easier to maintain your diet with your own favorite fresh food selections on hand.

EAT SOME PROTIEN AT EACH MEAL & AS A SNACK

In addition to everything that抯 been discussed before, eating protein helps you burn more calories. Jeff Hample, Ph.D., R.D., a spokesman for the American Dietetic Association says that, “Protein is made up mainly of amino acids, which are harder for your body to breakdown, so you burn more calories getting rid of them.?br>
Just think ?eating a protein rich snack can help you lose weight. How about a few slices of turkey or ham or some string cheese?

Eating protein will also help you feel full so that you are less likely to crave unhealthy snacks.

Buy a pedometer, clip it to your belt, and aim for an extra 1,000 steps a day. On average, sedentary people take only 2,000 to 3,000 steps a day. Adding 2,000 steps will help you maintain your current weight and stop gaining weight; adding more than that will help you lose weight.
