Any tea is good for you…just don’t put cream, milk or sugar in it. I’d say my FAVORITE tea is plain lipton, or peppermint choose one with lots of antioxidants in it…Hope it helps and good luck.

I think orange tea and green tea are the best. And the best tasty and healthiest kind is Tazo tea it is not expensive too.

Decaf Lipton is what I do.

I also thought Snapple came out with some type of green tea that they were boasting would boost your metabolism.

    Key Benefits:

    *
Boosts metabolism because it contains 55mg of EGCG, a naturally occurring antioxidant found in green tea leaves that is shown to boost metabolism. The most EGCG versus other leading bottled Green Teas.
    *
EGCG is Epigallocatechin Gallate (sounds like: epi-gallo-katakin-gal-late), a natural antioxidant found only in Green Tea.
    *
    All Natural
    *
    Full of antioxidants
    *
    Real Sugar (no artificial sweeteners)
    *
    Only 60 calories per serving
    *
    6 great-tasting flavors
    o
    Original (Regular and Diet)
    o
    Mango (Regular and Diet)
    o
    Asian Pear (Regular and Diet)

Green tea. It is loaded with antoxidants. Do not add milk to the tea though, it spoils the nutritional benefits. Try Oolong tea too.

I think all tea’s are good. I feel better when I am dieting. I mean I drink tea and don’t feel guilty but I drink a soda and I feel guilty. Oh yeah don’t some religions say you will go to heck if you drink tea or hot cocoa or caffeine?

Tea is a diuretic.. ie it encourages the body to get rid of water, so drinking lots of tea could be a problem, unless you top up the body with water

some teas can also have significant amounts of caffied (no where near as coffee mind you).

I think green teas ae meant to be the ‘best’, but Id of thought virtually any tea would be OK, if you can avoid havign milk in you tea that couldbe an advanatage

There are some fake teas like peppermint, camomile etc.. but to me they aren’t teas… Ive heard some of these fakes can be good

black tea is the new green tea. new research is saying that it’s better for you than green. Black tea relaxes and expands arteries, thus increasing blood flow to the heart. It also increases the amount of favonoids in the blood. These are antioxidants which are like those found in fruits and vegetables.

The high levels of antioxidants in black tea have been found to not only improve artery function but also to lower the rates of cancers. They have the ability to stop the oxidation which causes damage to DNA and turn normal cells into cancer cells.

Tea can also help prevent tooth decay. It contains fluoride and works better than the antibiotic tetracycline. It fights bacteria in the mouth that causes gum disease and cavity causing bacteria.

i hope this information helped you.
black tea is the way to gooooo.

Most important is to avoid all artifical sweeteners. Too many side effects and they confuse the brain, actually making it harder to lose weight.

ORGANIC green tea. (Non-organic is especially bad for pesticides.)

Fennel is good for reducing appetite and also speeds up metabolism.

Rooiboos (redbush) is all around excellent, really high in antioxs, let it steep for a good while. Same for nettle, high in minerals, but it’s a diuretic so use with care.

Liquorice can elevate your heart rate. If you’re not eating enough calories, you might be more prone to that.

For a change, add in some organic fruit teas. Clipper (UK) has two good ones, Red Fruits and Wild Berries. Nice taste and antioxs.
