What is the best exercise to loose the belly fat or the fat around the waist. Jogging alone does not seem to help. Any suggestions for something simple yet efficient?

a good diet will help and eating less carbs. I’ve been eating a lot of lean meats, with salads and vegetables and then just coupling it with 45 min of cardio 4x a week. Crunches and sit-ups will speed the process immensly, but you have to mix up your ab routine weekly to keep your muscles confused so you get more out of them. Cardio and diet though are most important

Train consistently and intelligently. Unfortunately, there is no one best exercise for training the abs. Perform a variety of exercises – include exercises from past and current trends. Also, include traditional crunches as well as effective movements from Pilates, yoga, sports and fitness ball training.

How do I get rid of the layer of flab around my abs?
The best way to burn fat is through diet modification and exercise. Cut out empty calories and eat sensibly. Simple exercises such as walking, swimming, cycling or running are effective for burning calories.

Crunches and sit ups. If you are willing to put money into this, a good product for you would probably be the Bender Ball, simply because it takes sit ups and crunches to a new level. Do any of these things and you will be fine.

Everyone has a problem spot. It can be around the stomach, thighs, arms or chest. No matter where your trouble spot is, the solution is exactly the same. You need to eat less and exercise more. The reason why there’s only one solution for all of these problems is because it’s impossible to tell your body where to burn the excess fat from.

When you eat too many calories, your body stores the excess energy as fat in different areas around the body. To lose this fat, you need to create a calorie deficit (eat less than you burn) to force your body to start burning that fat for energy. There is absolutely no way to control where your body goes to find this extra fat.

The larger your calorie deficit (a bigger calorie deficit means a bigger difference between what you eat and what you burn) the faster your body will burn excess fat and the quicker your body fat percentage will start to decrease. You can increase your calorie deficit by cutting your daily intake and exercising more. Sit ups will do nothing to target the fat around your abs just like squats will do nothing to target the fat around your thighs. You can read more about fixing your trouble spots at the Guide to Reducing Body Fat – http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/reducebodyfat.html

You need a combination of exercise and diet. Reducing calories, particularly sugary foods is a good start. No single exercise can reduce belly fat, so the idea of a “best” exercise isn’t the right way to think about it. Recent studies indicate that the quickest way to loose fat overall, including belly fat, is through high-intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT works well because it burns fat during the exercise, and allows your body to continue to burn fat for several hours after the exercise is done. You can do this by running or cycling, as long as you are alternating 30 seconds or so of intense speed or hill climb with a slow recovery period of 2-3 minutes. Warm up for 5 minutes or so, then repeat this high-intensity/slow sequence 5 to 6 times per workout, then cool down and stretch. See the references for some ideas, but don’t take these websites too seriously. Like any theme website, they are in love with their concepts. But their ideas are based on sound science (read NY Times reference).

It comes down to diet (nutrition)…

You need to cut your body fat below 10% ideally you want to be near 5-8%. So eat well…

    Then do abdominal exercises…

If you want a good plan and some tips…

Check out this site I found…

The best program I have heard of is this one: http://aeb5bevcudb7ald9mdr5i0-k48.hop.cl… and it’s easier than doing tons of cardio. It’s not some scam either.

    Good Luck
