What is a good exercise to lose weight fast but is safe?

I am only a teenager in fact only 13 going to be 14 soon but I am not the fittest guy you know and I know I need to lose some pounds but I dont know what to do. Can you please tell me a good exercise which is safe and fast.

    just getting out and doing some walking will help you take off the weight. Also, what will help is to quit drinking soda pop, even diet soda pop. Start drinking water. And for breakfast, eat a bowl of Cheerios or Special K, with Skim Milk. For Lunch, eat a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with Fat Free Mayo or Mustard. For Dinner, eat some type of lean meat and a salad. Between meals and in the evening, if you get hungry, drink water and eat some dry cereal.
