What can i have as a healthy low fat alternative to bread?

I know bread can be fattening and i find it bloats me up too much, whether it be white or brown. I wanna stay away from my usual snacking of sandwhiches etc. What could i have instead which is healthy and quite low in fat instead of always being tempted with bread! lol i have honestly put on so much weight with just bread alone!

Here are some healthy snacking ideas you might find helpful instead of bread…

•Low fat latte made with semi-skimmed milk or soy milk
•Mini pita bread with a quarter of an avocado
•Two rice cakes with one wedge light cheese
    •One 100-calorie pudding
•½ cup low fat cottage cheese with ½ cup blueberries
•One individual pot of low fat yogurt with 1 tablespoon raisins
•One stick mozzarella cheese with one sesame breadstick
•¾ cup tomato soup made with low fat milk
•Three hard-cooked egg whites mashed with a little Dijon mustard and a sliced tomato
•15 baby carrots with 2 tablespoons low fat dressing
    •12 ounces tomato juice
•10 soy crisps with a small peach
•1 cup whole strawberries with 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

    Hope these help

    Ben 🙂

Brown rice is filling and much much healthier than bread. You can mix it with healthy veggies to make a healthy rice salad

Try having porridge for breakfast too. That is also filling and can help stop mid-morning cravings

Bread is healthy and low fat!

Think about chosing low fat fillings & margerine.

Try a slice of Ezekiel bread…it’s a part of most “clean eating” diets and doesn’t leave you feeling bloated. Only 15g carbs per slice and that all healthy carbs. You need good carbs, especially if you work out…its the Wonder Bread/Twinkies kind of carbs you have to watch out for.
