Should I go back to weight watchers again or just concentrate on getting fit and eating well?

I have gone to weight watchers before and I lost 3 stone but gradually it crept back on. I have tried to return a few times but gave up very quickly. It seems I only really lose weight when I am happy so is it pointless just counting points and then deep down knowing that I want to comfort eat? I have joined the gym again and enjoy that so should I save my money and focus on that? I have noticed I have already started buying more food just because its low in points! Any help appreciated here! Thanks!

you need to become happy in your mind first before you can sort your eating out, Be happy being big honey! I am a size 18 very fit and healthy and a belly dancer! Men like women who look like women not like a young girl. Forget weight watchers unless you want to live every day counting points and depriving yourself of the things you like to eat, which is going to make you even more unhappy! as long as you are fit and healthy try to love yourself for who you are not how big you are! when you do this other people don’t see your size just your personalty! good look and if you want to chat just mail me. BIG IS BEAUTIFUL HONEY!!

I done weight watchers few years ago and didn’t like the idea of counting points, I would focus on getting fit and the weight will slowly disappear, I’m sure you know what you should and shouldn’t eat. Remember its not a diet it is a completely new way of life for ever and the slower you loose it the longer it will stay off. Good luck.

Whatever you want. Either way to lose weight will take dedicated from you. You will just have to change what and how much you eat, whether it be on Weight Watchers or just by yourself, to keep weight off. If WW meant you put on weight again, maybe don’t try that. Gradually wean yourself off unhealthy foods. Have big drinks of water and healthy snacks for when you feel like you need to comfort eat. Try and be happy if that helps you lose weight. The gym is fun! Definitely keep that up, it will be good for you.

Maybe weight watchers wasn’t for you….when you diet…it isn’t just a short fix but a liftstyle change….i struggle with weight watchers to keep the weight off once i finished the diet…. i found out by moving to slimming world that they encouraged me to change the way i looked at food and now i eat like a horse but have kept the weight off successfully…

It depends on your willpower. I know what I should & shouldn’t eat & roughly what portion sizes to eat but knowing someone is going to weigh me each week helps me to stick to this.
