Question about treadmill cardio to weight/fatloss?

Does your body ever get accustomed or “used to” the treadmill? Cause you know how if you do the same excercise over and over it has little to no effec after a while? Can it be the same with a treadmill, or no?

thanks.

I think what you’re referring to is weight lifting and building muscle mass. weight lifters can hit a ‘plateau’ where they stop seeing improvement. Even then, they already have a very built physique.
As for burning fat and cardio, the same does not apply. The only time you would fail to see improvement is if you do very short exercises. Just keep at it and try not to be too outcome dependent.

you should burn about 100 calories per mile, or even more accurately, 63% of your weight per mile since it takes energy to move mass. if your not getting your workout on the treadmill, its probably because you are in better shape than you started in, running is the same on a treadmill than it is at the track, although riding a bike is better for your knees, you may want to look into a stationary bicycle, one of those that has a chair, rather than a bicycle seat to keep you chones out of your crack, and ride for 45 minutes daily, or more if your wanting to further increase your fitness goals.
