planning on losing some weight on treadmill?

Ok I just rad on the treadmill for 10:30 with a speed of 5 and incline of 3. Is this an effective way to lose weight in like 2-3 weeks?

    You may want to spend a bit more time on the treadmill. Try burning at least 300 extra calories a day. Your treadmill should have a count.

    A treadmill can give you a decent cardio workout, especially if you use it to walk very briskly or jog.

    How much you can lose depends on how long you workout (30 mins min, 1 hour or more is better), and what you eat…to lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume so if you lower your calorie intake (don’t skip meals) AND add the cardio workouts, you should see some weightloss fairly soon.

    In 3 weeks you could probably lose around 6 to 9 pounds (2 – 3 lbs per week is a good rate if you want to keep it off long term).
