Looking for a easy, worth while diet to lose weight before the end of May! What do people think?

I have started having, one slim fast for breakfast, one slim fast for lunch, a snack mid afternoon and a healthy meal for tea. I am also drinking lots of water and doing two exercise DVDs a day.

I forgot to mention, I also have IBS so I have to be careful with all things like slimming tablets and fat binder things! Thanks x

Here is my personal advise if you wanted to lose weight fast, but always remember that losing weight can’t be achieved just by doing things needed overnight…here’s my tips.

    Here are a few weight loss tips that will help you speed up metabolism and burn excess fat from the body much faster.

    1. Eat specific foods such as spices and other food additives. They are proven to be able to help speed up metabolism and help burn fats fast within just a few hours after you eat.

    2. Keep track of eating schedule. Don’t skip your meals. It is also advisable to eat 4-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Try to eat nothing at all after you have eaten your evening meal.

    3. Most people think that eating less could actually speed up losing weight. On the contrary if you don’t consume enough calories you will send your body into what is known as a survival mode and it will conserve energy to prepare for possible starvation.

    4. Burn fats from your body by increasing your daily activities. Weight training and cardiovascular training is generally advisable. The more calories you burn, the faster you will lose weight. An increase in lean muscle mass results in a dramatic increase in fat burning.

    5. Weight lifting is recommended before doing any cardiovascular work because you need the energy in your muscles for weight training.

    6. It is also important that you change up your exercise routine on a regular basis. Change some aspect of your workout every 2 – 3 weeks.

    7. Make use of meal combination. Eat protein and carbohydrates in the day. During the evening or late afternoon eat meals with protein and fat. Never eat fats and carbohydrates together in the same big meal.

    I strongly suggest eating your 5 a day, regular exersize, weather its just taking a brisk walk to the shops etc. And keeping away from dark temptations like chocolate and foods that are high in saturated fat/sugar!

    Neither healthy nor safe. Eat properly, not that slimfast rubbish, and do one exercise DVD per day, and get plenty of sleep.
