Is there a way to lose only thigh fat?

My thighs are unusually large compared to the rest of my body. Anyway, is there a way to lose fat only from your thighs?

no. cardio/fat burning workouts burn fat as a total, not just one part of the body.

    Mini Wheats,

No, there is absolutely no way to specifically LOSE FAT from only your thighs. Your genetics determine how your body distributes fat as you gain or lose it. The good thing is that losing fat is a relatively simple (though sometimes difficult) process, and there are other things you can do to proportion yourself, as well.

To lose fat, use a diet rich in lean protein and fresh produce and moderate in complex carbs and healthy fats. There are many foods you can eat, but if you restrict your shopping to only the perimeter of the grocery store, you’ll be good to go. This way, you’ll only be getting produce, meat and poultry, dairy (use this sparingly), eggs, and whole grains. Obviously skip the bakery!

Though there really is no such thing as “toning,” lifting weights can help your thighs take on a tighter appearance as you build muscle while losing fat. Exercises like squats and lunges can help, as can using the stair stepper or a high-incline treadmill. Make sure to work your upper body hard, too, so that it balances out your legs.

It’s a good bet that once you are satisfied with how lean you are overall, your thighs will be a nice shape and size!
