Is there a really effective tecnique to starve yourself? i need to lose weight FAST.?

I am about 5’9 and 145 pounds. I am in the eighth grade. I am pretty active but I just can’t seem to lose weight. If you are going to tell me that it’s a stupid idea, don’t even waste you time because this is what I have chosen. My boyfriend dumped me because he thought that I was too fat. Please tell me any tips about starving myself.

    first off this isn’t gonna be the answer that u r looking for but it is the truth. ur boyfriend was dumb and u r really healthy and that is a good weight for somebody ur height. u r skinny. i am suppose to weigh in the 140 range for my height and i am 5’5″. u could even gain 10 lbs and still be skinny

    Your boyfriend was a jerk and you are not fat. Please don’t do anything so stupid as to starve yourself just to regain the affection of someone who doesn’t deserve you in the first place.

    Go for an all liquid diet. Drink 100% fruit juices to keep your metabolism up and also have energy. Just carry a bottle of juice wherever you go. You could last on this for about 3 weeks and lose about 20 pounds before you have to eat again. When you start eating again stick to almost all vegetables. You’ll keep losing and then you can hop back on the liquid diet. You just need to really stick to this diet. Take melatonin at night so you won’t have trouble sleeping from hunger.

    Honestly, you will not get many answers you want here. You are at a good weight for your height, and your boyfriend is a jerk off.

    If you try to starve yourself, or do some crazy diet to lose weight for like, a week- it WILL come back. You will lose water weight, and your metabolism will slow down. You will lose focus, be tired, and feel crappy all of the time.
    When you start eating normally again, your body will hang on to every single calorie and turn it into fat because it will be scared it is shutting down.

    Just eat healthy, and get plenty of exercise or play sports. The thing is, I know its hard to realize now, but the number on the scale doesn’t matter. It’s how good your body feels to you. If you feel bloated and gross, cut back on junk food and eat more fresh foods. See how good it makes you feel.

    For that one a**hole that told you that you are fat, there will be 100 other guys out there that think you are gorgeous no matter what your size!!!!!!

    Starving yourself is not the answer. It is not a safe way to lose weight. You need to incorporate a ecercise regimen into your daily routine and eat healthy. That is the ONLY way to lose weight safely. Plus if some boy dumped you because you are “fat” (which btw your BMI is within healthy range) than he doesn’t know anything and you do not need him, find someone who deserves and respects you.     I don’t know you, and I have never seen you before. I know that that was hard to think about and hard to hear. It still is. But DON’T DO this. It will harm your beautiful body more than it will help. You could end up with serious, life-threatening, long-term effects.

    On a personal level, there’s probably someone that loves you very much. Talk to an adult that you know about this. It will help, they will give good advice, and it will help to talk it out.

    But don’t starve yourself. That’s the worst thing to do.

    If your in 8th grade, you are at the age that you can begin exercising. Here’s a few healthy tips for eating right and exercising:
    1. Avoid fast food, pizza, lots of chips, lots of cookies, etc…
    2. Try to go for a 2-3 mile jog about 3 times a week. It will help you feel physically better, you will become stronger, and you will be able to focus better in school.
    3. Try to eat good vegetables (like salad without too much dressing, carrots, etc..) at least twice a day.

    Good luck! You can do this! And guess what? It’s not the end of the world – you’ve got a life to live. Give it your all.

    Starving yourself will mess up you metabolism. You might lose weight but it will slow your metabolism down, because your body will think it is starving and start burning calories slower.

    Instead of losing weight, I would opt for toning and sculpting your body. You can be very skinny yet flabby. I would find a good exercise regime from your physical education teacher or a fitness trainer in a gym.

    Forget the boyfriend. He was just making a silly excuse.

    Starving yourself slows down your metabolism, and as a result, your body goes into “starvation” mode by holding on to your energy deposits…known as fat.
    Eat a healhty diet, meaning 3 meals per day, get your fruits and veggies, not pizza, cake and soda…..and get some exersize. You’ll feel great, and be on your way to a HEALTHIER you.
