Exercise is the best fat loss tactic. I did a (diet only) for about 6 months and lost 18lbs. I hated working out but knew it was the only way that I would lose the pounds. I lost 63lbs in 6 months becauseof this workout routine. Jog 2 miles 4 days out of the week. It is important that you jog for a 1/4 of a mile and then walk a 1/4 of a mile until you reach 2 miles. Your jogging routine should last no less than 30 minutes. Also you want to do leg crunches, bicycle crunches, side crunches, push ups, jumping jacks, jump rope 2 minutes between each individual exercise and each rep 4 days out of the week. This routine should last no less than 40minutes and no more than 60 min. You will be drenched in sweat. Drink plenty of water. The hardest part is dieting. Limit yourself to 1200 – 1500- calories a day. I actually quit eating meat. Give yourself 2-3 days a week of no working out. Your body needs this time to recover. Hope this helps.

Do you exercise because you want to lose weight or Just Fat? If so, you probably know that cardio exercise is a key factor in helping you lose weight. Many people are warned to stay within their ‘fat burning’ zone for the best results, but do you really burn more fat if you work at lower intensities? Is it the most effective way to help you lose weight?

The body does burn a higher percentage of calories from fat in the ‘fat burning zone’ or at lower intensities. But, at higher intensities, you burn a greater number of overall calories which is what you should be concerned about when trying to lose weight. The chart below details the fat calories expended by a 130-pound woman during cardio exercise.

Nutrition is probably most important (calories burned > calories intake – http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm), but a combination of exercise and nutrition will work best.
